Gateway Self-Practice does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. The app has no internet access.
Nothing. There is no account, no sign in, no analytics, no advertising, no crash reporting, and no third party component that transmits data.
The Android app does not declare the INTERNET permission. Without that permission
the operating system will not allow the app to open a network connection, so it cannot send
information anywhere even in principle.
| Stored item | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Practice journal entries | Your own written record of each session |
| Set-aside notes | Short notes you park during an exercise |
| Settings | Voice on or off, chosen voice, speaking rate, audio preferences |
| Safety notice acknowledgement | So the first run notice is shown only once |
This data is held in the app's private storage area, which other apps cannot read. It never leaves the device by any route the app controls.
If you have Android's own backup or device transfer feature switched on, Android may include this app's data in your backup, exactly as it does for other apps. That transfer is performed by Android and your Google account, not by this app, and is governed by Google's privacy policy. You can exclude the app in your device's backup settings.
Because nothing is ever sent anywhere, there is no server side copy to request or delete.
The app requests no runtime permissions. It uses your device's built in text to speech engine for spoken guidance. The text spoken is generated on your device and handed to the system speech service, which is part of Android.
The app is not directed at children and is not designed for use by anyone under 18. It collects no data from anyone, including children.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this same address with a new last updated date.
